The Nigeria team qualified for the next African Cup of Nations (CAN 2021) before facing Benin on March 27, 2021. The Nigerians are certain to finish among the top two in Group L, continued to a 0-0 draw between Lesotho and Sierra Leone.

The Super Eagles are indeed certain to finish in the top two in the group L standings, following a 0-0 draw between Lesotho and Sierra Leone this Sunday in Maseru.
Nineteenth CAN for Nigeria
Lesothiens and Sierra Leoneans will no longer be able to catch up with the Nigerian team, which has too many points ahead, despite two fewer matches on the clock.
This will therefore be the 19th CAN finals for the Super Eagles.
