On March 27, in order to further enhance the public’s awareness of telecommunications network fraud, and to effectively safeguard the people’s property safety, the Zhengzhou Public Security Bureau held the “Ten Thousands of Signatures to Prevent Fraud, and the People’s Action to Protect Safety” at Ruyi Lake Square in Zhengdong New District.
Representatives of police, communication operators, banks, anti-fraud volunteers, enterprises and people from all walks of life attended the event.
The public security police showed off some electronic devices such as GOIP, Dokabao, POS machines, etc., used for telecommunications network fraud, which can simultaneously control 128 mobile phone cards, and distributed to the masses promotional materials such as pocket books on prevention of network fraud and playing cards. The masses teach relevant anti-fraud knowledge.
Everyone was full of enthusiasm and said that this kind of anti-fraud propaganda activity is very necessary. Through propaganda and explanation, the awareness of fraud and prevention has been improved.
In addition, this event also set up sub-venues in 18 squares and amusement parks in various counties (cities) and districts of Zhengzhou City to carry out anti-fraud propaganda simultaneously. A total of 100,000 people participated in the event.
