So, in this 2.38 million joint signature, we have seen a broad consensus in support of the decision of the National People's Congress.

The Liaison Office of the Central Committee will forward this heavy public opinion to the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress as soon as possible.

  Luo Huining pointed out that this signing event demonstrates the awe-inspiring righteousness on the banks of the Xiangjiang River.

Through this stack of signature books, we deeply felt the general public’s sincere support for the central government to correct chaos in a timely manner, felt the abhorrence of all walks of life for the “black violence” and “speculation”, and felt the Hong Kong society’s opposition to foreign and foreign forces’ interference.   Luo Huining pointed out that next week, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress will review the draft amendments to Annex 1 and Annex 2 of the Basic Law, and then Hong Kong will have to implement supporting legislation.

It is the joint responsibility of the SAR government, the legislature and all sectors of the Hong Kong society to fully implement the decisions of the National People's Congress.

  Hong Kong’s "Support the National People’s Congress’s Decision to Improve the Electoral System" link was jointly initiated by a number of patriotic and Hong Kong groups and representatives. From March 11 to 21, it was carried out for 11 consecutive days to "support the NPC’s decision to improve the electoral system and implement patriotism." The signature event on the theme of "Zhezhi Hong Kong" has mobilized 40,000 volunteers, distributed 1.405 million promotional leaflets, and received 2,385,732 valid local signatures in Hong Kong, including 1,211,869 offline signatures and 1,173,863 online signatures.
