Okayama Prefecture announced that it was confirmed that a man in his 70s living in Akaiwa City was newly infected with the new coronavirus.
Kurashiki City also announced that it was confirmed that a woman in her 30s living in the city was newly infected with the new coronavirus.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in Okayama Prefecture to 2632.
