The number of injections of the Covid-19 vaccine is gradually increasing in the Alpes-Maritimes.

According to the latest data published on Monday by the Regional Health Agency (ARS) Paca, nearly 15,000 people received a first dose in a week in the department, subject to new confinement.

The number of vaccinated fell from 129,026 to 143,579, while contaminations continue to drop very slightly.

The incidence rate (number of daily cases per 100,000 inhabitants) is now at 407, against 418 in the week of March 9 to 15.

Decrease in sheave, but not in conventional hospitalization

At the same time, the tension in the intensive care units has eased slightly.

This Monday, they were taking care of 117 seriously ill patients from the new coronavirus, or 14 less than on Friday.

Despite everything, their initial capacity remains largely exceeded (134.5%) and 80.5% of the beds (including those specially freed) are occupied, while numerous medical evacuations have already been organized in recent weeks.

On the other hand, the number of conventional hospitalizations has increased.

This Monday, 350 patients are medicalized, or 10 more in three days.

In one week, 41 new deaths attributed to Covid-19 were recorded in establishments on the Riviera.
