A total of 26,777 people have been confirmed to be infected in Aichi Prefecture.
Aichi Prefecture also announced that a man in his 80s who had been hospitalized in a medical institution after being infected with the new coronavirus died on the 20th.
The number of infected people who died in Aichi Prefecture is 571.
