Under these circumstances, the prefecture held an urgent countermeasures headquarters meeting on the 21st with the attendance of Governor Murai and others.



Among them, the infection situation in the prefecture corresponds to the second most serious "stage 3" out of the four stages indicated by the government subcommittee, and the business hours will be shortened for restaurants throughout Sendai city. I decided to request.



The period is from 9 pm on March 25th to 5 am on April 12th, and we request that the night business hours be 9 pm.



The target is restaurants that offer alcoholic beverages, including karaoke stores, and restaurants that accompany entertainment. This is the second such request in Miyagi Prefecture since it was made from the end of last year to February.



The prefecture pays a cooperation fee of 40,000 yen per day to the businesses that fully cooperated, and Sendai City is also considering its own support.

The mayor of Sendai City said, "We want to avoid situations where citizens cannot receive appropriate medical care. We will promptly provide cooperation money so that the business can continue."
