At around 5 am on March 21, the Harbin Fire Rescue Detachment Command Center received an alarm saying that a group of people near Shanshan Outlet Plaza, Limin Avenue, Songbei District, Harbin City fell into the room.
2 fire trucks and 9 commanders and fighters rushed to the scene to rescue.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and discovered that a young man accidentally fell into a covered basement on the ground floor. The basement was about 3 to 4 meters deep. The area was narrow and there was still a danger of debris falling above the man. The man’s ankle was injured and the pain was severe. Move by yourself.
Rescuers carry the multifunctional stretcher into the basement wearing a safety harness, lift it onto the stretcher, and fix it firmly with safety hooks and safety ropes.
The rest of the rescuers on the scene used ropes to pull it out of the basement and hand it over to the medical staff.
