Idris Elba has just signed a contract with publisher HarperCollins to publish a collection of children's books.
These will be both fictional books and other illustrated books whose publication is due to begin in 2022.
However, the multi-talented actor will honor the deal with the assistance of his writing partner Robyn Charteris, herself known for having worked on numerous children's programs for British television.
In addition, Robyn Charteris has also collaborated with Mattel and Lego, as the
Hollywood Reporter points out

“I feel privileged to have the opportunity to bring my daughter-inspired stories to life with my amazing partner Robyn Charteris and the energy of the HarperCollins teams,” Idris Elba said in a statement.
Not content with his success as an actor, DJ and music producer, Idris Elba will therefore try to establish himself in children's literature.
