Bruno Guillon is now the host of "Z'amours" -

France 2 / FTV

Bad times for old loves on the side of France 2. Two years after having dropped

Motu

s like an old sock, the channel could ask another emblematic show of its mornings to pack its bags.

According to

Le Parisien

,

Les Z'amours

will not return in September after its 27th season.

The show, presented by Bruno Guillon, would pay the price for a new entertainment policy on public channels: to promote made in France.

Adaptation of an American game,

Les Z'amours

had nevertheless, over the years, adopted a resolutely Gallic tone: schoolboy jokes, clunky sexual allusions and pseudo-romanticism with a trowel.

On the air since 1995, the game still achieves good audience performance, with nearly 900,000 viewers daily.

Tex fired, Guillon maintained

Since 2018, Bruno Guillon had taken over the reins of the program with the aim of rejuvenating his image.

Obviously, this will not have been enough to save a program long embodied by Jean-Luc Reichmann.

At least Bruno Guillon had made forget the slippages of Tex, host of

Z'amours

for 18 years whose sexist projections had the gift of annoying Delphine Ernotte.

The president of France 2 had landed in 2018, using the pretext of a joke on battered women told in a program of C 8, and which had moved even the Secretary of State for Equality of time, Marlène Schiappa.

Still according to

Le Parisien

, Bruno Guillon could still keep his place and his time slot with another game, 100% French this time.
