3 people died from water vapor while they slept in Egypt

A housewife and two workers died after inhaling water vapor while they fell asleep at their workplace in the Abu Hammad Center district in Sharkia Governorate in Egypt, and the necessary report on the incident was released to be presented to the Public Prosecution for investigation.

The Assistant Minister of Interior for Eastern Security, Major General Ibrahim Abdel Ghaffar, received a notification from Major General Amr Raouf, Director of the Criminal Investigation Department, regarding what was reported from Abu Hammad Central Hospital, to receive a 52-year-old housewife, 45-year-old workers and a 37-year-old worker, all of whom reside in the Derb Negm Police Station department, with injuries Suffocated, they were transferred to Abu Hammad Central Hospital and died while trying to help them, according to Egyptian newspapers.

By examining it was found that the deceased worked in the culinary profession, and while they were preparing food for one of the occasions in the village of Mitt Reddin, affiliated to Abu Hammad Center, they were neglected and plunged into a deep sleep, forgetting the presence of water on the gas stove, which led to their suffocation due to the increase in water vapor in the closed room during sleep .

A report on the incident was drawn up, and the bodies were transferred to Zagazig General Hospital, and upon submission to the Public Prosecution Office, it decided to authorize the burial after completing the autopsy to indicate the cause of death.
