seven-day incidence
was reported to Robert.Koch Institute (RKI) on Friday morning nationwide at
95.6

On Thursday it was 90.

A value of more than 95 was last reported at the end of January (98.1 on January 28).
After that, the incidence had continued to decline for some time, reaching a low of 56.8 on February 19.
Since then, the value has been going up again noticeably.

ago
.

The number of new infections in Germany fell significantly for weeks in January and February.

1,244
newly reported deaths was reached on January 14th.
Among the new infections registered within 24 hours
, the highest value was reached on December 18
with
33,777

If it is below 1 for a longer period of time, the infection process subsides;
if it is consistently higher, the number of cases increases.
