In order to prevent the spread of infection again, the three prefectures in the Tokyo metropolitan area will continue to request refraining from going out unnecessarily and shortening business hours until the end of March even after the state of emergency is lifted.

The governors of Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, and Kanagawa discussed online what to do after the state of emergency was lifted on the 21st of this month.

The governors agreed that they would continue to work together to prevent the spread of the infection.

Request for refraining from going out unnecessarily from 22nd to 31st

Specifically, as an initiative from the 22nd to the 31st of this month, the day after the declaration was lifted, we request the citizens of Tokyo and the prefecture to refrain from going out unnecessarily.

Relaxation by 9 pm Requests for shortening to restaurants continue

For restaurants, etc., we will continue to request shortening of business hours, although it will be relaxed from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

The cooperation fee will be 40,000 yen per day.

Event restrictions continue to be requested

We will also continue to request restrictions on the event, requesting that the maximum capacity be 5000 people or 50% or less of the capacity, whichever is greater, and that the event will be held until 9 pm.

In addition, it was confirmed that we will discuss the measures from next month onward based on the infection situation and request the government for financial support.

Governor Koike of Tokyo said, "It is important to be careful about rebounds. We would like to cooperate in one city and three prefectures where people flow."
