[Explanation] Song Fushan is 80 years old this year. He has been influenced by his mother since he was a child and has a keen interest in traditional Chinese cultural sculptures.
After retiring in 1995, he began to teach himself eggshell carving. Now 26 years have passed.

When I was young, under the influence of my mother's paper-cutting art (craft), I fell in love with paper-cutting and carving.
After retiring, I have some free time, and I don't want to waste time on playing mahjong or chess, so I like this egg sculpture after (19)95.
[Explanation] Egg carving is a craft. The first step is to choose eggs. Egg shells with large areas and dark colors are more suitable for carving.

To choose the egg, you have to choose the same size, (color) darker, red or black, because the black (or) red has a larger color difference with the white. After carving it out (color) ) Is more vivid.
[Explanation] After selecting the eggs, Song Fushan used a drill to make a small hole with a diameter of about 3 mm in the bottom of the eggshell, and used a needle tube to inflate the small hole, using the principle of air pressure to squeeze the egg liquid out of the eggshell, and finally Water was poured into the needle tube to wash the egg liquid remaining in the egg shell, and then began to paint on it.

The second step is to paint on the egg, because the egg is not a flat surface, so this ratio is different from the ratio of painting on a flat surface on paper, and the difficulty is (compared to) difficult to paint on a flat surface on paper.
[Explanation] With just a few strokes, Song Fushan vividly outlined a landscape painting on the egg shell, and began to carve with a carving knife. The most difficult thing to master is the coordination of the grip strength and the force of the knife.

Because this egg shell is too thin, it's only 0.1 (0.3) mm, and it is easy to break.
When catching (grabbing) the egg, be sure to use these 3 fingers or 4 fingers to make it round (appropriate), and grasp it evenly.
Then, the knife must be measured. Don't use too much strength. The tip of the knife is sharper, so it is easy to cut.
[Explanation] On weekdays, Song Fushan takes one and a half to two days to make an egg sculpture. This is no longer an easy task for an 80-year-old elder. He hopes to influence even more through his actions. Many young people have carried forward Chinese traditional culture.
