Moments after an earthquake in Algeria on Thursday, two tremors of magnitude 3.2 and 3.4 occurred in the Alpes-Maritimes department, six minutes apart, at 1:12 a.m. and at 1:18 a.m.

Magnitude 6, this earthquake, which caused damage on the spot without causing any casualties, also generated a "yellow tsunami alert" on the Côte d'Azur, according to Yannick Ferrand, director of the major risk prevention service in France. the city of Cannes.
