Ridley Scott is fortunate to have been able to consult the archives of the

at his leisure for his next film,

, which traces the murder of Maurizio Gucci, sponsored by his ex-wife, Patrizia Reggiani.

It was the current president of the luxury brand, Marco Bizzarri, who confirmed their agreement to WWD.

"Gucci is collaborating with MGM and Scott Free Productions by giving them access to the historical archives of the house for costumes and accessories," he revealed.

is currently filming in Italy.

Adam Driver plays Maurizio Gucci, while Lady Gaga plays Patrizia Reggiani, the “black widow”, who was sentenced in 1998 to 29 years in prison.

She was released in October 2016, after 18 years behind bars.

We also find in the cast Jeremy Irons, Jared Leto, Al Pacino and Camille Cottin.

The film is based on Sara Gay Forden's book
