The director of "On the other side of the periphery" Louis Leterrier announced last January in "Culture Médias" that the film would have a sequel.

Our colleagues from the newspaper "Le Parisien" revealed on Tuesday that this new film is already being shot.

It should be available on a streaming platform.

It won't be released in theaters, but directly on Netflix.

According to our colleagues from the newspaper

Le

Parisien

, the continuation of the film

On the other side of the periphery

, with Omar Sy and Laurent Lafitte, will do without the box "going to the cinema", to land directly in our living rooms.

The filming of the sequel to this detective comedy, which will take place in particular in the Alps, has just started.

The spectators will find the two headliners of the first part.

A release in early 2022

The sequel to the film

On the other side of the periphery

should be released on Netflix by spring 2022. It is on Europe 1, in the program

Culture Médias

, that the director Louis Leterrier announced last January that this comedy would indeed have a sequel.

"I have become quite addicted to Omar Sy and to France" he confided to Philippe Vandel.

He was then preparing the film

Bright 2

with Will Smith, already for Netflix.

"It's a very, very good film and the rest is written by Stéphane Kazandjian, which is absolutely extraordinary and so funny. I read the script and I cried with laughter", then promised Louis Leterrier.

The sequel to

On the other side of the periphery

will be the director's third project for Netflix, after

Lupine.

A successful series, where he toured with none other than Omar Sy.
