France 2 is developing an evening dedicated to pedocriminality and the words of victims on Wednesday, which has been listening free in recent years.

This thematic evening will begin with Andrea Bescon and Eric Metayer's film "The Tickles", followed by a debate, before ending with Eric Guéret's documentary "Abused Childhood".

It is a difficult subject, but necessary to deal with.

France 2 devotes its Wednesday evening to child crime and to welcoming the words of people abused in their childhood.

Journalist Julian Bugier will lead this thematic evening.

It begins at 9 p.m. with the screening of Andrea Bescond and Eric Metayer's film,

Les Chatouilles

(2 César in 2019), inspired by the director's childhood.

The film tells about the difficulty of speaking and of building oneself.

It will be followed by a debate moderated by the presenter of 13h de France 2. According to him, this heavy-themed evening was necessary.

"It was important that the public service offers a great evening of public utility, as part of the freedom of speech that has been observed for several months," said Julian Bugier.

"You will never see this type of evening on competing channels, because it is the role of the public service to broach hard subjects, and to give the keys to solutions."

"It is we, citizens and the media, who can move the lines"

During the debate, the journalist will notably receive the director Andrea Bescond and the psychiatrist Muriel Salmona.

He hopes this type of night can make a difference.

"I am convinced that it is with small steps that we end up moving the lines," he explains.

"In society, we expect a lot from politics. But it is also often us, the citizens, the media, who can shake things up."

This thematic evening will end with the screening of the documentary

Childhood Abused

, directed by Eric Guéret.

This film gives voice to eight people, victims of sexual violence in childhood, who confide in the repercussions of their aggression or their rape on their life, and tell how they have rebuilt themselves.

This France 2 evening begins Wednesday at 9 p.m.
