Algerian writer Yasmine Briki married the grandson of the French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, to acquire this title of Princess, after a love story between them, in contrast to the hostile course of history between their origins.

The BBC Trending program quoted Briki as saying that "marriage will help improve the relationship between Algeria and France."

She added, "The love that brought her together with the grandson of Napoleon, is her personal life, before she was between two countries."

According to the "BBC", Yasmine Brikki, of Algerian origin, specifically from Annaba, moved to France in 2004, in order to complete her studies, and is known for her activities in the cultural field and her interest in writing books for children.
