A jewelry seller based in Urville-Nacqueville (Manche) has not been able to carry out her activity for a few days because of the fire which ravaged the data center of the OVH company on the night of March 9 to 10, in Strasbourg.

The professional makes her sales on the Internet, but her site is no longer able to function, reports

France Bleu Cotentin on

Monday.

It was quickly informed that the destroyed server hosted all of its activity on the web.

She lost all her data, reports the regional daily.

Insufficient compensation of 30 euros

The salesperson's companion is currently trying to find a solution to recreate her site and thus avoid excessive creation costs.

“If we manage to launch our new merchant site by the end of this week, I estimate that I will have lost around 2,000 euros,” she said.

The company OVHCloud contacted her offering her compensation of 30 euros.

The professional considers that this sum is derisory given the extent of her loss of activity.

She said she was going to find a new host.
