Nichi-Iko, Sawai Pharmaceutical, and Towa Pharmaceutical's three major generic drug manufacturers also manufacture and sell this drug under product names such as "Epinastine Hydrochloride DS Pediatric 1%."



Each company will start voluntary recall of all products within the expiration date from the 15th, saying that the use of the drug may cause temporary health damage, and will stop new shipments.



The total number of voluntary recalls for the four companies is over 700,000.
