The number of patients in intensive care has exceeded that of November 2020 in Ile-de-Frrance.

Some 1,152 patients with Covid-19 are hospitalized in intensive care in the Ile-de-France region, the regional health agency (ARS) announced on Monday.

A number of patients that exceeds that recorded in November 2020, at the peak of the second wave.

Nationally, the pressure on intensive care services also continued to climb on Monday, with 400 new admissions compared to the day before, according to hospital data compiled by Public Health France.

In total, the resuscitation services welcome some 4,200 Covid patients.
