INTERVIEW

After long weeks of hall closures, artists and music professionals hope to be able to resume concerts soon.

But while the coronavirus epidemic continues to strike France, no specific perspective is yet offered to the sector.

While waiting for better days, Europe 1 offers you a series of live concerts all week long, every evening, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., on the

Music program

 presented by Emilie Mazoyer.

At Matthieu Belliard's microphone, the latter came to present this "Back to Live" operation.

The live performances will take place in the Pierre Bellemare studio, where four artists will follow one another every evening.

And to believe Emilie Mazoyer, the singers and musicians did not hesitate to respond.

"They are also very happy," says Emilie Mazoyer.

"On our side, public, music fan, we miss concerts. But also the artists, since they all responded present. They, a word from the Minister and they are all ready to go on tour."

And to insist: "We already have artists who are ready to come next month and the following month".

"Not a promotional exercise"

And there will be something for everyone.

Monday evening, listeners from Europe 1 will be able to see and hear Bénabar, but other song artists are expected such as Cali, Vianney, Julien Clerc, Keren Ann and Yelle, Camélia Jordana or Eddy de Pretto.

"This is not a promotional exercise", specifies Emilie Mazoyer.

"These are real concerts with real musicians."

Recorded in the Pierre Bellemare studio, the lives will be broadcast via a Facebook live on the Europe 1 page. The artists, laughs Emilie Mazoyer, "are undermined as if to go on stage, made up, it's a bit of a party. this week".
