Therefore, Liangshan has become the most difficult "hard bone" in the construction of rural drinking water safety in Sichuan and even the whole country.

More than two years ago, she had to walk back and forth for more than 40 minutes to fetch water from the well in the village.

At that time, the daily water of 168 villagers in the village relied on the only four wells in the village.

　　In the past, the water I ate in my hometown was relatively unclean, so I picked up the water from a distance and went home to cook and wash clothes.

The distance of carrying the water is relatively long. You can only carry it once a day, and it takes 40 minutes to carry it back and forth. It can carry up to 50 kilograms.

When the water is back, it must be boiled before eating. If it is not boiled, it will cause stomach ache.

　　[Explanation] Since the "13th Five-Year Plan", Liangshan Prefecture's drinking water safety work has achieved catch-up development.

Up to now, 1,492 resettlement sites in Liangshan have been fully accessible, and 3,150 drinking water problems have been eliminated.

By the end of 2020, the rural tap water rate in Liangshan reached 82.8%, which was 0.8% higher than the average of Sichuan province. As scheduled, the 440,000 people with unsafe drinking water in 2015 were completely cleared.

　　Since 2016, the county has coordinated and integrated funds of more than two billion yuan, solving and consolidating a total population of nearly 350,000 people.

The drinking water safety of the poor people in 15038 households with 69,363 people in the county is all up to the standard.

In our poverty alleviation process, we have considered more of the subsequent consolidation and expansion of the results of poverty alleviation, which is somewhat connected with rural revitalization. We have also done a lot of work related to rural revitalization in the near future.

There are currently 164 registered small-scale reservoirs in Nanchong County, which are distributed among the mountains and dense forests in 40 towns and villages. They are multi-faceted and wide-ranging, providing water conservancy guarantees for the economic and social development of the region.

However, due to the economic and technical conditions during the construction period and the later maintenance conditions, most of the reservoirs built in the 1950s and 1970s gradually showed disease.

　　[Explanation] According to statistics, the 100 reservoirs that have been strengthened after risk elimination have added more than 20,000 mu of irrigation area to the agricultural industry in Nanbu County, benefiting about 50,000 downstream people.

Nanbu County also insisted on simultaneously promoting ecological civilization construction in the construction of reservoir reinforcement projects. The construction of a reservoir will enrich the people and provide a beautiful environment. It has become a good place for people to relax, and the economic and social benefits are very significant.
