At Hiraoka Hachimangu in Kyoto, which is related to Yoshimitsu Ashikaga, the shogun of the Muromachi Shogunate, the "Flower Ceiling" with seasonal flowers and trees is open to the public.

Hiraoka Hachimangu Shrine in Ukyo-ku, Kyoto, which is said to have been rebuilt by Yoshimitsu Ashikaga during the Muromachi period, opens the "Flower Ceiling" of the main shrine with colorful flowers and trees to the public every spring and autumn.

Forty-four paintings depicting flowers and trees that Yoshimitsu is said to have collected, such as cherry blossoms and maples, are set in a lacquered frame of about 70 cm square, and visitors explained to the priest. While listening, I was thinking about the situation at that time.

A woman from the city said, "I was thinking of visiting a nearby area rather than going out. I enjoyed having Mr. Miyaji explain it in an easy-to-understand manner."

Shunsuke Sasaki said, "It's a difficult time with the new Corona, but I hope you'll come and take a break."

"Flower Ceiling" is open to the public until May 9th.
