- The current board has zero confidence in Ivar in that role.

We do not want to get rid of Ivar, absolutely not.

I like Ivar, a great guy, but this is not a role he can handle, says Tino Sanandaji.

The newly started online magazine Bulletin has had a turbulent start.

A week or so ago, a conflict was revealed between management and the editorial staff, where employees sound the alarm about a chaotic work situation where the owners get involved in the editorial work, among other things by publishing a column that the former editor-in-chief Paulina Neuding did not approve.

Something that the management denies.

Recorded calls

But Kulturnyheterna has taken part in recordings from an internal general meeting last week where the owners question the principle that owners are not responsible for the content.

- There is no rule that owners are automatically suspended.

It is Bonnier's rule that they do not get involved. In small Swedish newspapers, the owners are almost always active, it is my duty, says Tino Sanandaji during the general meeting.

"Wants to fire inappropriate news managers"

In an interview with Kulturnyheterna, Tino Sanandaji says that it is of course the responsible publisher who is responsible.

- We only say that owners have the right to participate at an organizational level in an owner-managed newspaper.

If you claim that we, the owners, would be against these obvious and constitutionally protected rights, you are lying, says Tino Sanandaji and continues:

- We have said that we want to fire inappropriate news managers, it has nothing to do with the constitution.

Ivar Arpi has declined to comment.
