Lawyers Weapon: Consumers need comprehensive research and judgment platform qualifications

At the consumer level, what should consumers do if they encounter problems such as false propaganda of online education institutions, unqualified teachers, low quality of online courses, or bankruptcy of institutions?

In response to these issues, the reporter interviewed Yan Chuang, a partner of Beijing Zhongwen Law Firm.

Yan Chuang said that if consumers encounter agencies suspected of false propaganda and other acts, they can complain to the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau and request corresponding treatment.

At the same time, consumers can request the termination of the contract in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code and claim that all payments should be refunded.

For consumers who found that the quality of online lessons were not high, the effect of the lectures was not good, and the purpose of the contract could not be achieved after attending the class, Yan Chuang said that consumers can send to the institution and its staff in accordance with the provisions of Article 565 of the Civil Code The notice of termination of the contract and the request to withdraw from the class or refund the fee, and retain the corresponding evidence of communication.

In addition, Yan Chuang pointed out that online education institutions went bankrupt and went bankrupt, which is an institution's breach of contract.

As for tuition fees, you need to ask the institution to claim rights. If the institution involves more students and tuition fees, you can request the Market Supervision Administration or report to the local police station to claim the corresponding rights.

Yan Chuang suggested that when choosing an online education platform, don’t just look at its advertising, but also ask the platform to provide corresponding information, check the business registration information of the education platform company, whether there are administrative penalties, and whether there are a large number of consumer education contract disputes and litigation. And so on to conduct comprehensive research and judgment.
