On March 11, an adult snow leopard appeared near the elementary school in Xitan Township, Menyuan Hui Autonomous County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province.
It is understood that the snow leopard accidentally cut his head when he broke into the glass enclosed room of the farmer’s house from the vicinity of the Xitan Township Primary School, and the snow leopard had blood stains on his forehead.
After receiving the alarm, Menyuan County Forest Public Security Police blocked the road and entered the scene.
The snow leopard was anesthetized and examined by the staff of Menyuan County and the experts of the Qinghai Wildlife Rescue and Breeding Center. It was found that there was no other injury except for the glass cut on the head.
