At the reactor building of TEPCO's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station Unit 3, where decommissioning work is being carried out, it was found that the water level in a corner of the basement floor has risen since the 9th.

TEPCO says it will investigate the cause.

According to TEPCO, it was found that the water level in the space called "Triangle Corner" in the corner of the first basement floor of the reactor building of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant Unit 3 has risen since the morning of Ototo.

By 9 am on the 10th, the water level had risen by about 18 cm.

On the 11th, TEPCO plans to pump water from this area and move it to another space inside the building to adjust the water level.

We will also investigate the cause, including the relationship with the earthquake that occurred on February 13.

At Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station Unit 3, the water level in the containment vessel covering the reactor temporarily dropped after the February earthquake, but it has stabilized since then, and there is no significant change even at 3:00 pm on the 10th. ..

In addition, there are no abnormalities in the values of the monitoring posts on the premises and the equipment that measures radioactive substances in seawater.
