The travel industry is demanding specific agreements from the federal government with important travel countries in order to enable safe tourism in the pandemic.

This has not yet happened, criticizes the President of the German Travel Association (DRV), Norbert Fiebig, on ZDF.

Clear perspectives are now required for the industry, which “really whistles out of the last hole”.

This also includes the abolition of the quarantine obligation, which is preventing many people from booking.

“Corona test instead of house arrest,” demands Fiebig.

The reluctance to book is currently "still relatively great".

The head of the association recommends that Germans find out about the conditions of the providers in travel agencies.

The organizers are very flexible when it comes to rebooking and cancellations.
