Nothing that is not an
irresponsible partisan maneuver
can explain the motion of censure presented early yesterday in Murcia by PSOE and Cs to evict
popular
president
Fernando López Miras from power
.
With a country that has buried nearly 100,000 compatriots due to the pandemic and already registers four million unemployed and another million in ERTE and that, according to all international organizations, is on
the brink of economic collapse
due to poor management, among other reasons.
government, initiate a process of
institutional destabilization
of this magnitude just by grabbing power reveals the
populist drift of a Sánchez
who is more concerned with preventing the alternative than governing.
And in that temptation he manages to make others fall, because this operation did not have as a priority objective the autonomous government of Murcia, but to give
an unexpected blow to the PP in the communities where it governs
, as demonstrated by the censure motions registered hours later against
Ayuso
Y
Fernandez Manueco
.
Beyond this, however, the essential collaboration of Ciudadanos reveals that there is an undisguised attempt to provoke a
fracture in the center right
with the inexplicable complicity of
Inés Arrimadas
, thus breaking its commitment to maintain the legislative agreements with the PP.
With this movement, the leader of Cs not only explicitly contradicts the inheritance of Albert Rivera - who resigned after staying true to the promise made to his voters - but also definitively breaks the orange party, since
both Juan Marín in Andalusia and Francisco Igea in Castilla y León have announced their firm commitment to stability
in their respective governments.
But the most alarming thing is that Arrimadas has revealed his intention to
stand out from creating an alternative from the center and the right
the radical coalition government supported by separatists.
A liberal alternative that the Government of the Community of Madrid represents today.
Sabel Díaz Ayuso, who knew how to react quickly to avoid the assault on her Government
, signing a decree of anticipated holding of elections -as established by the Madrid Statute of Autonomy- and
dismissing all the councilors of Cs
, including the vice president
Ignacio Aguado
, which is not the first time that he has been disloyal to his president.
Ayuso, realizing that he was facing a challenge directed by the Government of Sánchez e Iglesias in collaboration with Arrimadas, decided to anticipate to avoid a motion of censure like the one that precipitated the fall of
Mariano Rajoy
.
That is the reason why the president of the Madrid Assembly, Juan Trinidad (de Cs), ignored the decree of the Governing Council signed by Ayuso and decided to admit the late motions.
presented by Más País and by Ángel Gabilondo
, initiating a judicial battle that in all probability will reach the Constitutional Court, although stopping a dissolution previously adopted by the competent authority
it seems fraud of law.
But yesterday's upheaval is also the consequence of the weakness of a center-right that has failed to manage its division and is mired in
a real project and leadership crisis
.
Now, Casado is obliged to react if he does not want others to be at the forefront of that necessary alternative to prevent the alliance of the PSOE with the radical left and the independentists from occupying all the spaces of power,
even those, such as Murcia, where its general secretary, Teodoro García Egea, comes from.
.
It is what their voters and all citizens expect
They do not understand that the political class wastes energy in power struggles
While the pandemic continues to claim lives, the vaccination process does not progress and the economy continues to be weighed down by uncertainty and lack of expectations.
