Vladimir Nabokov was not an author who circumvented erotic taboos.

In a poem he speculated about the instinctual life of an American icon.

It was never printed.

79 years later you can now read why Superman thought of “Berchtesgaden” while having sex.

The poem was a rumor so far, there were indications of it, but it was considered lost, no Nabokov researcher has read it.

It has now turned up in a library at Yale - in an envelope.
