[Explanation] The physical and chemical laboratory where Xing Yuxiu is located is mainly responsible for the inspection and appraisal of relevant physical evidence in various criminal cases.
According to reports, they are responsible for determining the attributes and content of poisons and drugs. In some traffic accidents, the laboratory also needs to test trace materials such as fiber, glass, and paint.
[Explanation] Xing Yuxiu told reporters that after receiving the case, his colleague was responsible for the on-site investigation. She coordinated in the laboratory in advance and began testing as soon as the samples were delivered.
First, check the material evidence information, check the biological tissues for corruption, and formulate the detection plan according to the classification. Sometimes the number of samples is large, and the processing before the computer is only required a whole day. Then the report generated by the instrument is searched, matched, and matched on the computer. Only by repeated analysis and adjustment can the appraisal results be obtained and legal documents issued.
[Explanation] During the Spring Festival of 2013, a medicinal alcohol poisoning case occurred in a county in Hainan Prefecture, Qinghai Province. Xing Yuxiu and his colleagues carried out an overnight test. In the afternoon of the next day, they informed the hospital of the test results and pointed out the direction for rescue work in time. Finally, two patients were out of danger .

[Explanation] Every time he finishes the experiment, Xing Yuxiu will carefully preserve and archive the test tubes and cups and wipe them clean. She said that the hygiene of the laboratory can reflect the accuracy of the data, and every crime scene is one time. "Examination" is a test of both usual skill and on-the-spot adaptability. It is also a test of care and patience.

Around 2009, there was a child who was born four or five days old (dead). He was an adult because of some family conflicts, so he suspected of poisoning. I also followed our forensic colleagues. Son, I participated in this autopsy for the first time. This is the second scene, but for me it is also the first time in my life. I have seen a living life, especially when such a young child is in front of me. Deep, I just want to use our strength to find out the cause of his death, so after repeated tests in our laboratory, we also carefully analyzed it, and finally ruled out the possibility of being poisoned. Death caused by a congenital disease, so the passing of a small life is also a spur to me.
[Explanation] In 2016, Xing Yuxiu went to the Li Changyu College of Criminal Law and Criminal Forensics in the United States for a 6-month study visit.
Xing Yuxiu's motto is to do experiments, listen to lectures, and visit with the professor. "Turn the impossible into possible" has become Xing Yuxiu's motto.
Currently, she is working with her colleagues to try to establish the first new psychoactive substance database in Qinghai Province to provide support for anti-drug work.
She said that only by focusing on the present and trying to get more scientific and convincing data can we save lives, restore property losses, and retrieve fairness and justice.
