Created in the 18th century, the Technical Section of the Army (Stat), is a little-known component and yet essential for operations.
Working in close collaboration with the General Directorate of Armaments, the Statute assesses the equipment and materials offered by manufacturers, and ensures their adequacy with the operational needs reported by the units.
