March 7 marks the 80th anniversary of the birth of the theater and film actor, People's Artist of the RSFSR Andrei Mironov. He remained in the memory of millions thanks to the brightest roles in films: Gesha from The Diamond Arm by Leonid Gaidai, Ostap Bender from 12 Chairs by Mark Zakharov, projectionist from The Man from Boulevard des Capucines, Alla Surikova and many others. In addition, the artist performed with pop numbers. However, the main passion of Andrei Mironov was theater: he devoted 25 years of his life to the Moscow Theater of Satire, where he played Khlestakov, Chatsky, Don Juan, Figaro. In the early 1970s, the artist made his debut as a theater director.
