In a clip posted this Friday, rapper The Vivi was keen to respond to the controversy triggered two weeks ago after the exhumation of some of his homophobic, sexist and racist tweets.

A few days after the broadcast of his participation in

The Voice

, where he had turned the four coaches, the production of the show decided to exclude him from the game of TF1.

"These messages remain incompatible with our values and with its participation in the program which ends today", wrote ITV Studios France in a press release.

Less than two weeks later, the rapper decided to take the floor by rapping to explain himself in the face of the media wave that overwhelmed him.

“Now the TV, the media, I know them.

They speak on my behalf, without messing around.

I know who I am, what I'm worth, what I said and I apologize to death if you knew, ”he comments from the start of his song.

"Fuck the fascists who want to defend me"

“It breaks my principles and my values for popping floods on Twitter.

And fuck the fascists who want to defend me, I won't go into your secrets, I don't need your stalkers, ”he continues a few seconds later.

Throughout his rap, The Vivi therefore apologizes and explains how much he has changed, arguing that what he considered humor four years ago no longer makes him laugh today.

This song seems to be the starting point of a new career for The Vivi.

“The technique, the lyrical rhymes will have to get used to.

Your toxic, stupid messages will not be able to stop me, ”he announces in

Grandir

.

At the end of his clip, the young man with a shovel buries a smartphone that displays the Twitter logo.

Right next to it is a board with "2017" written on it, the year he wrote his messages.
