[Concurrent] Zhu Jiannan, the inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage face painting in Tianxin District, Changsha, Hunan

I have loved (painting) facial makeup very much in my life, and I like facial makeup very much. I drew the following facial makeup.

[Explanation] The old man in the picture is named Zhu Jiannan, and he is the inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage face painting in Tianxin District, Changsha, Hunan.

At the age of 76, he has been fond of calligraphy and painting since he was a child. Influenced by two relatives who worked in the Beijing Opera Troupe, he came across the opera facial makeup by chance and fell in love with it deeply.

Through in-depth research, he found that many local traditional operas have problems with the inheritance of "dating". For this reason, he decided to collect facial makeup and use the form of painting to paint it in an innovative way. Spread the traditional folk culture of Facebook by oneself.

According to statistics, Zhu Jiannan has collected and drawn facial makeup for more than 30 years, and has traveled all over the country. He has collected more than 60 types of facial makeup and drawn more than 3,000 facial makeups, of which there are more than 900 Hunan opera facial makeups.

Zhu Jiannan said that Hunan is a "big province of opera" with 19 local opera types, such as Changsha Huagu Opera, Qi Opera, Baling Opera, Miao Opera, etc. Each type of opera has its own characteristics and subtle differences.

Hunan's facial masks are also a bit more vivid. The following row of facial masks are all tiger facial masks.

There are Peking operas and other types of operas.

Like this, it is the face of the tiger in our Hunan Opera. It is different from other face makeup. You can see that there is a relatively large "tiger" written on its forehead. Of course, these facial makeups also have the word "tiger" written on it. Yes, but the word "tiger" is very prominent. It is framed in a red frame. I think it is more intuitive. I saw: "Ah, this is a tiger's face." The teeth of the mouth are also different. When it draws the fangs, the teeth are different. This is the difference between Xiang Opera (face makeup) and other types of drama (face makeup).

[Explanation] In order to let more people know about the traditional facial makeup painting culture, Zhu Jiannan also recruited more than 20 apprentices and often invited them to learn how to draw facial makeup from home.

Among them, the great apprentice Xu Guozhang has studied with him for 12 years, and has drawn nearly a thousand facial makeups of various dramas.

Teacher Zhu is very nice and easy-going.

For more than ten years, I have been following Teacher Zhu to learn this painting of facial makeup. Sometimes I paint at his home and paint all day. From morning to night, I don’t feel tired after painting for more than ten hours. Teacher Zhu is also impatient. I also carefully and carefully told us how to draw facial makeup and how it came from. These are very careful.

[Explanation] Zhu Jiannan said that many years of face painting has improved his painting and calligraphy level. In the process of collecting and drawing, he combined painting, calligraphy and face makeup to create many new works.

In the future, he will continue to collect more facial makeup and spare no effort to pass on the facial makeup drawing culture.

Now that I am a successor, I also have this obligation (to pass on Facebook). Now you are like the city intangible heritage museum and the Tianxin intangible heritage museum, and where else the intangible heritage museum engages in activities, I actively participate and teach these students. , Children, and even adults draw facial makeup, I also spare no effort.
