On the 6th, a boat that seems to have been on board two men who were fishing in the sea off the coast of Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture was found to have capsized, and the Japan Coast Guard is continuing the search.

According to the Kure Maritime Security Department in Hiroshima Prefecture, at around 4:40 pm on the 6th, a male friend reported that "two men who went fishing by boat from Kure City did not come back."



The two are a man in his 60s living in Hiroshima City and a man in his 70s living in Kure City. When the Maritime Security Department searched by helicopter, it was past 6 pm and about 3 km south of Kurahashi Island in Kure City. At sea, a small pleasure boat, believed to have been used by two people, was found overturned.



The Japan Coast Guard has sent helicopters and patrol boats to the nearby waters to find the whereabouts of the two, as no collision-like scratches have been found on the boat.
