This one hundred cow picture comes from his representative work-"The Great View of Painting and Calligraphy of the Twelve Chinese Zodiac".
Xu Guozhang told reporters that he loved calligraphy and painting since he was a child. In the course of years of study and creation, he found that postgraduate students had few monographs on Xiao characters, so he had the idea of using calligraphy to express the Chinese zodiac culture.
Since 2013, he has traveled all over the country to search for the zodiac culture. In 4 years, he has created three huge "Zodiac Paintings and Calligraphy", each with 120 pages, 1.7 meters long, 80 cm wide, and weighs 80 jins.
From five-style calligraphy to pictograms and ethnic characters, from simplified paintings to drama masks, paper-cutting, and seal cutting... the three books bring together the cultural elements of the zodiac signs of various ethnic groups from ancient times to the present.

Regarding the collection and sorting of these three books, I traveled to more than 20 regions across the country, and the farthest place was to Yunnan and Lijiang.
Face-to-face contact with A Yuan, the inheritor of Lijiang Dongba culture, studied with him for two days, ate and lived with him, and hosted the friends who were studying outside with him. The two of them were very happy there. Up to now, we still have exchanges, and I have to ask him to further collect and sort out these classic stories about the Chinese zodiac and the Naxi people.
[Explanation] Xu Guozhang said that the twelve zodiac signs have condensed thousands of years of culture and history, and the creation of "Twelve Zodiac Painting and Calligraphy" is different from pure calligraphy.
Each zodiac sign represents a kind of meaning, for example, the ox can cultivate the land, which has a great influence on the farming civilization, so it has always been a symbol of hard work, honesty and dedication.
Only after earnestly studying and understanding the Chinese zodiac culture can he show the same spirit of the Chinese zodiac in every different painting and calligraphy composition.
In order to study the zodiac signs in more depth, Xu Guozhang also collected various twelve zodiac ornaments in different materials when collecting and sorting out the characters of the zodiac.
He told reporters that in order to gather a complete set, he often has to go to several different places.
In the future, he will continue to collect the relevant content of the zodiac culture, and strive to let more people know the zodiac culture.

These three books are not enough to truly inherit the culture of this zodiac.
I would like to extract some more classic things from these three books, and then collect and sort out some deeper things like the zodiac culture. I also prepare a better booklet.
I have also collected and sorted out some materials made of various materials, as well as modern and modern zodiac objects. When I receive a certain amount, I will open a zodiac collection hall to let everyone know about this zodiac culture.
