As a countermeasure against the new coronavirus, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has issued a stronger "request" that can issue "orders" to restaurants that have not responded to requests for shortening business hours, but has issued "requests". We have notified multiple stores to start the procedure to ask why they are not responding.

After listening to the store's claims, we will consider whether to issue an "order" in the future.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has requested that business hours be until 8:00 pm, but it is stronger that it can also issue "orders" to restaurants that do not respond based on Article 45 of the Special Measures Law. I am issuing a "request".

It is a "request" that can be applied only under a state of emergency, and it is stipulated that the prefectural governor can issue an "order" and ultimately impose a fine as an administrative punishment if it is not responded without a justifiable reason. I will.

On the 5th, a total of 39 stores were opened, and 113 stores have made stronger "requests".

There are 74 stores, excluding 39 stores on the 5th, and there is no response as of the 4th.

For this reason, the capital issued a notice on the 5th to start the procedure to ask some of these 74 stores why they did not respond to the request.

In the future, we will consider whether to issue an "order" after listening to the store's claims.
