On-site demonstrations of mechanized land leveling, mechanized planting operations, and drone spraying of pesticides and fertilizers were performed.
Guangxi's annual average sugar production accounts for more than 60% of China's, and it is China's "sugar jar".
Liuzhou is an important cane sugar production base in Guangxi, and sugarcane planting is one of the pillar industries for local farmers to get rich.
The introduction of mechanization in sugar cane production can effectively reduce costs and increase revenue.
Sugarcane farmers can also receive operating subsidies for using mechanized planting. Since the second half of 2020, the central government has arranged a total of 724 million yuan in subsidies for the mechanized operation of sugarcane production in Guangxi.
