"Seven Band" interprets Hong Kong's splendor from different era

  The film "Seven Band", co-directed by Sammo Hung, Xu Anhua, Tan Jiaming, Yuan Heping, To Qifeng, Lin Lingdong and Tsui Hark, debuted the era version of the stills on March 4th, showing Hong Kong's splendor in different eras, and the starring lineup was also exposed.

  As a joint work of seven Hong Kong-level directors, each director is responsible for a period of time in "The Band of Seven", filming stories related to Hong Kong. It is expected to meet the audience in this spring.

  Masters and apprentices practicing on the rooftops in the 1950s, principals pacing outside the classroom in the 1960s, couples in the 1980s, awkward couples, grandparents who loved martial arts in the 1990s; young people who worked hard in the 2000s, and returned home full of nostalgia in the 2010s. The villagers, the patients and doctors in the psychiatric hospitals in the 1920s...The rich figures show the beauty of Hong Kong in different eras.

  In terms of leading roles, there are not only Ren Dahua, Wu Zhenyu, Yuan Hua, Gong Cien, Zhang Daming, Zhang Jincheng, Lin Xue, and Liu Guochang and other powerful actors of the "drama" level, but also Hong Tianming, Ma Sai, Wu Mingtao, Yu Xiangning, Lin Kailing, Wu Yongshi, Hu The younger generation of actors such as Tong, Xu Haochang and Lin Yuxuan.

The lineup includes three generations of actors from Hong Kong, old, middle and young, star-studded.

  The film was previously selected as the official screening unit of the 73rd Cannes International Film Festival in 2020; it premiered at the 21st Tokyo FILMeX International Film Festival and won the Audience Award; in the same year, it was selected as the opening of the 25th Busan International Film Festival film.

Also invited to participate are the 12th Lyon Lumiere Film Festival, the 4th Guna Film Festival, and the 50th Rotterdam International Film Festival in the Netherlands.

  It is reported that the entire film "Seven Band" was shot on film.

The seven directors used this film to pay tribute to the once-popular Hong Kong film and to the film era.
