Follow the quarantine rules and have a fun and cultural spring day.

● Matthew Vaughn Collection at Home (Fri/Sat March)-Paid

Matthew Vaughn is a choreographer who has become famous in Korea for the dance musical'Swan Lake' featuring male swans.

Since the founding of'New Adventures' in 1987, it is considered one of the most popular choreographers in the world by constantly releasing dance performances created by twisting existing classics.

His dance performances are long-term like musicals and enjoy popular popularity.

He has been awarded the Olivier Awards, one of the most prestigious performing arts awards in the UK, and holds the record for the highest number of winners ever.

In recognition of his contributions to the art world, he was the first modern dancer to receive the title of knighthood from the British royal family in 2016.

LG Art Center has introduced Matthew Vaughn's'Swan Lake' to Korea in the early 2000s, and has been steadily introducing Matthew Vaughn's works.

This time, as a paid online performance, four works by Matthew Vaughn, who have never performed in Korea, will be presented for the month of March.

'Red Shoes' is a work taken on stage from a classic British movie inspired by Andersen's fairy tales.

In Andersen's fairy tale, there are'red shoes' that you must wear and dance endlessly.

'Red Shoes' tells the story of a ballerina, a ballet leader, and a composer who loves ballerinas, who are in conflict between love and art.

Originally, a performance in Korea was scheduled last year, but it was canceled due to Corona 19.

'Car Man' is a repertoire that has been performing steadily since its premiere in 2000, and it was motivated by Bizet's opera'Carmen' and the movie'Postman Rings the Bell twice' starring Jack Nicholson.

Carmen and Postman ring the bell twice, what kind of work will come out?

It is an ``erotic dance thriller'' that unfolds in politics, betrayal and revenge.

Often referred to as'Matthew Vaughn's most dangerous work'.

'Cinderella' is based on Prokofiev's ballet music, but the content is adapted as a love story that blooms amidst the dark conditions of World War II.

A live performance video of a live orchestra accompaniment will be screened at the Sadler's Wells Theater in London in 2017.

'Romeo and Juliet' is a work created by Matthew Vaughn'For the Next Generation'.

It's a well-known story, but it's also reborn in Matthew Vaughn's unique style.

At auditions held all over the UK, we selected and featured teenage dancers.

The explosive energy and enthusiasm of teenage dancers is impressive.

Online performances will be screened every Friday and Saturday for 4 weeks from March 5th to March 27th, twice per film, for a total of 8 times.

You can watch for up to 6 hours after the broadcast starts, and the admission fee is 10,000 won.

Earlier in the United States,'NIVA', a group consisting of about 3,000 indie venues, conducted a campaign of the same name.

As a result of conducting the performance and calling for attention, we received a $15 billion COVID-19 relief grant from the U.S. government.

In Korea, many performances were canceled due to Corona 19, and the indie music industry was hit hard. Live performance halls such as V Hall, Move Hall, and Queen Live Hall were closed one after another, resulting in a greater sense of crisis.

The concert organizer said,'The power of Korean popular music is not limited to a few stars, but comes from a number of musicians who grow up meeting audiences in large and small live venues.

However, such venues are disappearing one by one.

Still, if the concert halls that have been supported by scraping in a harsh environment can no longer hold up and collapse, it is not easy to return after the pandemic.'

Therefore, this festival is also a place to urge interest in the Korean indie ecosystem in crisis.

The cry of those who say,'Please protect our stage' is desperate.

One-day tickets for 8-10 teams per day are sold for 10,000 won, and tickets for five days before and two reruns are sold for 50,000 won.

The link to reserve the Presented Live Ticket is [▶Go to].

Profits earned from ticket sales and sponsorship will be paid for the venue rental fee, on-site manpower, and actual expenses of participating artists, and the remaining profit will be used as a fund for the indie music ecosystem.

As of March 4, about 36 percent of the first target amount of 50 million won has been sold.
