[Explanation] Chen Qihai runs a snack bar in Caixia Street, Qinhuai District, Nanjing. He sells wontons when he is busy, and writes poems when he is free.
In the past two to three decades, Chen Qihai has written more than 2,000 poems and published a collection of poems.
On March 3, a reporter from China News Service came to the shop he dubbed "Poetry Creation Workshop" to record the romantic feelings of this "grassroot poet".
[Explanation] In Chen Qihai's text, there are both life perception and spiritual chicken soup. A poem must be revised at least ten times from creation to completion.

I like archaic poetry very much. I have not interrupted the research, discussion and study of archaic poetry since I was in school. In my life, I also use my free time to continue to study and study poetry.

[Explanation] After graduating from high school, Chen Qihai began to try poetry creation. Today, he has written more than 2,000 poems.

I came to Nanjing in 1997. At that time, I was in a grain and oil wholesale business. In 2006, I opened a "Chen Jia Wonton" shop together with my wife.
When I came to Nanjing Qinhuai, I was very influenced by Jiangnan culture. Sometimes, in my free time, I often go to the ancient city wall (Nanjing Ming city wall) or the Qinhuai River to find inspiration.

My favorite poets are Li Bai and Bai Juyi. They are very romantic and thoughtful poets. Their poetic spirit can deeply touch me.
