On March 3, the Chengdu Giant Panda Museum opened by the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.
The museum has a construction area of 7,179 square meters and a display area of 4,342 square meters. It is the world's first interactive museum with the theme of giant pandas. It is also the world's largest panda museum with the largest area, the strongest sense of technology, and the deepest interactive experience.
The museum is divided into seven exhibition areas: "Panda Prequel", "Bamboo Forest Hermit", "Panda Discovery", "Endangered Age", "Protection Road", "Ecological Homeland", and "Creating and Sharing the Future". The design theme reflects "Human·Giant Panda·Nature Harmony "The spirit of ", through interactive experience, scene restoration, immersive tours, etc., let the public understand the survival status of rare animals such as giant pandas while visiting and entertaining, inspire environmental protection and animal protection awareness, enlighten the spirit of scientific exploration, and improve the public scientific ethics.
