This is the first field cultural relics protection team in the development zone in Shaanxi.
The "Qinhan New City Field Cultural Relics Protection Team" will give full play to the advantages of the public security organs and cultural relics departments in joint prevention and control of field cultural relics safety, organize and supervise the public security police stations and cultural relics management centers in the jurisdiction to carry out field cultural relics safety inspections, and be responsible for supervising the management of cultural relics. The center, the police station, the traffic patrol, and the street office security patrol team fully implement the cultural relics safety management system, and realize the full coverage of the field cultural relics safety supervision and no dead ends; the preliminary investigation and diversion of various illegal cases involving cultural relics in the jurisdiction are administrative cases. The transfer to the Qinhan New City Cultural Relics Inspection Brigade for handling, and the transfer of public security or criminal cases to the corresponding department for handling.

It is understood that as an important part of the Xixian New Area, the Qin and Han New City has a profound historical and cultural heritage and rich cultural relic resources. There are 13 national key cultural relics protection units such as the Qin Xianyang City Site and the Western Han Emperor’s Mausoleum. The site protection area covers an area of 104 square kilometers.
