Recently, in the Sunshine Cuiting Community, Fangsong Street, Songjiang District, Shanghai, vivid paper-cut pictures are pasted in the carports and are sought after by residents.
It turns out that Aunt Chu Henqiu, a resident of this community, is a paper-cut artist who is always enthusiastic about community welfare and specially produced these folk-cultural paper-cut works for the community. Her paper-cuts are based on folk life and reflect traditional folk customs in many aspects and angles.
Community staff posted paper-cut paintings featuring folk culture in the carport and the lobby on the first floor of the neighborhood committee.
Residents have expressed that this is a good way to show traditional Chinese folk customs.
