Before the intensive response date on the 17th of this month, "UA Zensen" made by labor unions such as textile chemistry and distribution industry will hold a rally and continue negotiations for the spring battle to raise wages for so-called "essential workers". I confirmed.

The rally was held in Tokyo on the 3rd by "UA Zensen", which is made up of about 2,300 labor unions in the textile chemistry and distribution industries, and after thorough measures to prevent infection, more than 1,200 people including online participated.

At the beginning, Chairman Akihiko Matsuura said, "It is important to improve the treatment of those who have worked hard to protect the workplace," and will continue negotiations for the spring battle, seeking a wage increase for so-called "essential workers" who support society. I confirmed that.

In this spring battle, "UA Zensen" is seeking a wage increase such as a base increase to raise the basic salary with a target of up to 2% after securing a regular salary increase.

For 134 unions that have submitted requests so far and can be compared with the previous year, the average amount of wage increase requests such as base-up is 4225 yen per member, which is 0.18% lower than last year. It means that the demand level is higher than last year at supermarkets.

A man in his 40s who participated said, "I think the negotiations are tough, but I will do my best to reward the union members who work at the forefront even in the case of Corona."

"UA Zensen" has a centralized response date of 17th of this month, and the focus will be on how much wages can be raised.
