Two days after the discovery of a body, wrapped in plastic, in an apartment in Tour-du-Pin (Isère), the investigation is moving forward.

Two men, suspected of having killed the victim, were arrested and must be presented to an investigating judge for murder, the Bourgoin-Jallieu prosecutor's office said on Tuesday.

It was a neighbor, having heard an argument in the apartment in question, who had alerted the gendarmes.

The suspects had come to find him in order to formulate a somewhat surprising request.

"They asked him for a saw for a body to be removed," explains Dietlind Baudoin, the public prosecutor, confirming information from the

Dauphiné Libéré

.

The victim, “more or less homeless”, was then lodged by the tenant of the apartment.

This tenant and a friend present that evening have been in police custody since the arrival of the gendarmes on Sunday evening, and the case was to be transmitted to the Grenoble investigation center on Tuesday for the probable opening of a judicial investigation .

According to

the Dauphiné Libéré

, the three men drank and quarreled on Saturday evening, then the 54-year-old homeless man received numerous stab wounds, causing his death.

It was while trying to get rid of the body that the two men of 34 and 50 years knocked on the neighbor's door on Sunday around 10 p.m.
