In April of last year, two mothers and an acquaintance's woman in Sasaguri Town, Fukuoka Prefecture, were arrested on suspicion of abandoning the protection officer for starving their five-year-old son without giving enough food.

Police are investigating the details of the suspicion that the mother was usually in control of her property and was instructed about her child's diet.

Two people were arrested, both unemployed in Onaka, Sasaguri Town, Fukuoka Prefecture, Suspect Ikari (39) and acquaintance Emiko Akahori (48).

According to police, the two were suspected of abandoning the protection officer in April last year, alleging that they starved to death without giving enough food to their third son, Shoshiro, who was five years old at the time.

Akahori's couple, who was contacted by Ikari who noticed Shoshiro's breathing abnormalities, reported to the fire department, and Shoshiro was taken to the hospital but died.

When I proceeded with the investigation on the suspicion that my mother, Ikari, did not fulfill her duties as a parent, Akahori managed the overall life of Ikari's family, and Shoshiro was weakened. Regardless, there was a suspicion that he was not taken to the hospital.

Akahori managed Ikari's deposit account and delivered food to Ikari's home, while police suspected that he had instructed children to restrict meals. I am investigating the history in detail.
